Why should you want to sponsor me?
Through my work in Singapore I have flown a lot in South East Asia in the last couple of years aside from many flights in Europe. My worldwide network in the paragliding scene has thanks to that grown very fast and I'm well known in the scene, also through flying XC in countries where little people thought flying was even possible.
I'm very active in social networks as well, having e.g. almost 1000 Facebook connections from all over the world, mainly from the paragliding field and continuously growing.
In late 2015, I founded together with friends from Malta, Lebanon, Switzerland, Israel and Poland the Facebook group "Paragliding Forum", which according to many manufacturers and companies as well as the feedback from our members in the paragliding field, is the best maintained pragliding group. We have grown to close to
Additionally I'm founding member of the Paragliders Association Singapore (www.paragliders.sg) and was and still am helping to set up international standards in terms of training and safety together with some of my club colleagues. I helped connecting our association to BHPA and DHV to get support in this endeavor. Many of my fellow club members are starting to do XC flying as well, thanks to my inspiration and the XC scene in the whole region (including Indonesia and Malaysia) is growing thanks to that.
Since 2016 I'm a member of the German paragliding league, and am participating regularly in competitions since 2014.
Being motivational to others, I'm frequently approached by pilots, asking me for recommendations of equipment from paragliding gear, over clothing, to instruments.
